Réplica Awards 2026 Call for Submissions Closes This Friday
The Réplica Awards have announced a November 6 submission deadline for their 2026 cycle, which will culminate in a ceremony on December 1 at the Teatro Guiniguada in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The Réplica Awards are entering the final stage of preparations for their 2026 cycle. Organizers have announced that the deadline for submissions is this Friday, November 6. Following this, the selection process will begin, leading up to the awards ceremony on December 1 at the Teatro Guiniguada in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Since its launch in 2009, the competition has served as a key measure of the region's creative talent. The awards are open to any professional entity based in the Canary Islands, provided their productions were released between May 31, 2025, and October 1, 2026. Membership in the organizing association is not required.
This year, 12 awards will be presented across 11 categories. These cover a wide range of disciplines, including theater, dance, family theater, lighting, sound design, scenography, costume design, direction, and dramaturgy (supported by the SGAE). The awards also include two non-binary performance honors and an Honorary Award for lifetime achievement.
To apply, interested parties should email gestionpremios26@outlook.es. Technical guidelines and application forms are available on the official website or by request. Through a partnership with the PiedeBase Association for the dance category, the event continues its mission to showcase and celebrate the best of Canarian performing arts.
