Spanish artist Quique Serra has released "Mueveló," a new single blending Latin tech house with Afro-Venezuelan percussion and 90s merengue to connect different generations and cultures on the dance floor.

The Spanish music scene has a new song that aims to connect different generations and cultures. Producer and artist Quique Serra has just released his latest single, "Mueveló," which became available this Friday on all major digital platforms. The track blends Latin tech house and Latin house, styles Serra explores by bringing together various musical elements.

"Mueveló" is built on a modern tech house base, enriched with Afro-Venezuelan percussion and other Latin rhythms. It also includes nods to 1990s merengue, reimagined for today's sound. The result is a track made for the dance floor, designed to get people moving from the very first beat and help audiences connect. Its main aim is to link those who grew up with Latin rhythms and 90s merengue with new generations, creating a space where musical memories and current electronic music can coexist.

Released during Carnival, the song's festive nature is highlighted, making it perfect for various gatherings. The inclusion of Afro-Venezuelan sounds is also intentional; it connects with the cultural reality of Tenerife, where Venezuelan influence is a significant part of the community. This gives the track an identity that goes beyond just the music.

Serra's career includes previous hits like "Oye Papi," a remix of which by Ray Castellano reached the Top 10 sales on Traxsource, a major global platform for electronic music. This achievement highlights the international reach of his work. The artist has also confirmed he will perform at the Granca Live Fest on July 4, one of the most prominent music events in the Canary Islands.

Beyond his work as a producer, Serra also directs and hosts "Electronic Weekend Dance," a radio and digital project focused on current dance music. In its latest season, this platform has showcased over six hundred new demos and promotions, including tracks from international stars like Don Diablo, James Hype, and Tiësto. It has become a crucial channel for sharing new releases in the electronic music scene.
