Quevedo Becomes Most-Streamed Spanish Artist in Spotify History
Spanish artist Quevedo has become the most-streamed musician in his country's history on Spotify, surpassing 14.68 billion total plays.
Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo has officially become the Spanish artist with the most all-time streams on Spotify. The Gran Canaria native has surpassed 14.68 billion total streams, moving ahead of international stars like Rosalía and Rels B.
This achievement follows a period of rapid growth. According to data from Kworb, Quevedo’s total stream count jumped from 14.55 billion at the start of August to his current record in just two weeks. He currently maintains a steady base of about 30 million monthly listeners, a number that has peaked as high as 38 million during busy promotional periods.
Several key projects have driven this success. His Vol. 52 session with Bizarrap remains his most popular track, with over 2.117 billion plays. His debut album, Donde quiero estar, has amassed more than 3.587 billion streams, and his song Buenas noches has also surpassed the 1 billion mark.
His latest work, El Baifo, is also performing well, nearing 554 million streams. The project includes the hit La Graciosa, featuring Elvis Crespo, which topped the LOS40 chart four times and became one of Spain’s most-played songs this summer. Another track, Al Golpito, has also become a fan favorite.
This milestone reinforces Quevedo’s status as a record-breaker. In January 2023, he set a historical record for a Spanish artist by reaching 10.92 million streams in a single day. His continued success highlights how audience loyalty and consistent streaming numbers have become the most important measures of success in today’s music industry.
