Canary Islands artist Quevedo has announced his return to the stage with "El Baifo Tour," a highly exclusive four-show run in Madrid and Barcelona supported by an interactive fan engagement app.

The Spanish music industry is gearing up for one of the most exclusive events of 2027. Canary Islands artist Quevedo has officially announced his return to the stage with El Baifo Tour. In a strategic move that favors scarcity over a massive nationwide run, the tour will be limited to just four shows split between Madrid and Barcelona, following the release of his third studio album.

The ticket-buying process will be strictly controlled. Fans must pre-register by Monday, June 15, at 3:00 PM to participate in the presale, which begins on Tuesday, June 16, at 12:00 PM. General ticket sales will open on Thursday, June 18, at 12:00 PM. The promoter has confirmed there are no plans to add more cities, which is expected to drive intense demand for the limited tickets.

The announcement itself was unconventional, moving away from standard press releases. Instead, Quevedo launched an interactive app on June 10 called El Baifo está en casa ("The kid is home"). This gamified experience allowed fans to engage with the artist and earn rewards. The tour’s title—a nod to the Canary Islands term for a young goat—highlights the artist’s commitment to his cultural roots.

This approach reflects a growing trend in the music industry: using digital interaction to build fan loyalty and combat ticket scalping. By turning the tour announcement into a participatory game, Quevedo’s team has successfully generated massive anticipation well before the first tickets go on sale.
