Puerto de la Cruz’s Phe Festival Returns for 11th Edition with Charity Focus
The eleventh edition of Puerto de la Cruz's Phe Festival returns on September 4th and 5th, featuring a diverse lineup of indie and electronic music alongside cultural activities while supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Venezuela.
The Phe Festival in Puerto de la Cruz is back for its eleventh year, once again proving itself as a highlight of the Canary Islands' cultural calendar. Organizers have confirmed the event will take place on September 4th and 5th, continuing its tradition of blending indie music, electronic beats, and visual arts. The festival is officially recognized by the Fundación Contemporánea and holds the "A Greener Future" sustainability seal.
This year, the festival is also supporting a charitable cause. Organizers are donating 2,000 euros directly, plus 5% of all ticket sales, to the Spanish Emergency Committee to help with the seismic crisis in Venezuela.
Beyond the music, the "PheXperiences" program offers a wide range of activities. Highlights include an exhibition of emerging artists at the Eduardo Westerdahl Museum of Contemporary Art, curated by Beatriz Roca, as well as sports and wellness events like the BMX Water Jump, urban sports championships in San Antonio, and yoga sessions.
The musical lineup is spread across three main areas:
- Heineken and Deichmann Stages: These stages will host international acts, including island debuts from Fat Dog and Getdown Services, alongside Ibibio Sound Machine, Bodega, ARXX, and Faeda. The Spanish and Latin American lineup features Rufus T. Firefly, VVV [Trippin’ You], Carlos Ares, Barry B, EZEZEZ, Natalia Doco, and Ona Mafalda. Local talent will be represented by Choclock, Xerach, Good Franco, Belice, Just Becca, and Pequeña Alaska.
- Ron Guajiro Phe Club: This stage is the home of electronic music. Friday’s lineup features Phil Hartnoll of Orbital and producer Roman Flügel. On Saturday, the stage will host Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip and electroclash artist Yung Prado. Additional performances include Candela, Isla Sonido, Mostany, Emma Play & Mr. Paradise, Bobby Bob, El Chico & Jessy La Ley, and La Brega.
