The 52nd Bavarian Oktoberfest Week with concerts, street parades and German orchestras will be held in Puerto de la Cruz from August 24 to 30.

The 52nd Bavarian Oktoberfest week, which will take place from August 24 to 30 in Puerto de la Cruz, was presented yesterday at the Hotel Botánico. The organizers are the Center for Initiatives and Tourism (CIT) together with the City Council, Turismo de Tenerife and the Island Council.

It will all start next Sunday with a concert at the Costa Martiánez complex. On Tuesday and Thursday, street parades will take place in the city center, and on Wednesday at noon, there will be a traditional train tour to Loro Parque. The main stars will be the German orchestras Reinheitsgebot, Hüttenzauber and Blechbuckel, who will come from different parts of Germany to show us their folklore.

And finally, on August 29 and 30, the long-awaited Oktoberfest will take place on the pier esplanade. The organizers promise that it will be the biggest beer festival in history! Special attention will be paid to the visitors' impressions, and there will also be a lot of delicious food: craft beer and traditional German pastries. It is a great place to meet with family and friends, admission is free, and you can enjoy good music in the open air.

Oktoberfest in Puerto de la Cruz has more than half a century of history! It has become a real hallmark of the Canary summer, combining German traditions, local hospitality and an incredible atmosphere by the sea. "Puerto de la Cruz is betting on quality tourism. We are open to the world, and this holiday is a great example of our cosmopolitan, cultural and festive spirit," said Mayor Leopoldo Afonso at the presentation.

The Councilor for Tourism and Culture, Désiré Díaz Torres, thanked the sponsors, hotels and shops that supported the event. And the president of CIT, Juan José Hernández, emphasized that "the event has grown because we care about the visitors' impressions. Thank you to the sponsors and partners for their support, and I invite everyone to enjoy the holiday, which will combine beer traditions, gastronomy and culture!".
