Puerto de la Cruz Hosts 11th Phe Festival With Humanitarian Focus and Diverse Lineup
The eleventh edition of the Phe Festival returns to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4 and 5, featuring a diverse international lineup and a charitable initiative supporting humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Venezuela.
The eleventh edition of the Phe Festival returns to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4 and 5. The event continues to grow as a key cultural highlight in the Canary Islands, blending a diverse musical lineup with a strong commitment to social causes. Organizers announced that a portion of this year’s proceeds will support humanitarian aid for victims of the recent earthquake in Venezuela, starting with a €2,000 donation and 5% of ticket sales collected since the crisis began, all managed through the Spanish Emergency Committee.
The festival’s lineup, presented alongside representatives from the Canary Islands Government, the Cabildo of Tenerife, and the Puerto de la Cruz City Council, features a mix of international and national talent. Making their archipelago debut are British acts Fat Dog, Getdown Services, and Ibibio Sound Machine, as well as New York’s Bodega. The roster also includes Arxx, Faeda, Ona Mafalda, and Argentine artist Natalia Doco, alongside national acts like Rufus T. Firefly, Carlos Ares, Barry B, VVV [Trippin’ You], and Ezezez. Local artists, including Good Franco, Xerach, Belice, Choclock, and Pequeña Alaska, will also take the stage.
Performances will be spread across three areas: the Heineken and Deichmann stages for live music, and the Ron Guajiro Phe Club, which will host electronic sets from artists such as Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Roman Flügel, and Yung Prado.
Beyond the music, the "PheXperiences" program offers a variety of activities. These include the Phe Gallery exhibition—now hosted at the Eduardo Westerdahl Museum of Contemporary Art—and wellness events like Phe Yoga, Phe Wine, and the sixth annual BMX Water Jump. The festival is also bringing back its urban sports championship at the San Antonio skatepark, further strengthening its ties to local urban culture.
