Phe Festival Returns to Puerto de la Cruz with New Electronic Music Focus
The 11th edition of the Phe Festival returns to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4 and 5, featuring a new electronic-focused "Phe Club" alongside a diverse lineup of 18 live bands and family-friendly programming.
The 11th edition of the Phe Festival returns to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4 and 5, with a new focus on club culture. Organizers have introduced the "Ron Guajiro Phe Club," a dedicated space designed as a continuous dance floor to complement the main Heineken and Deichmann stages.
This move aims to establish the festival as a key destination for electronic music in the Canary Islands. The Phe Club lineup features international heavyweights like German producer Roman Flügel, a pioneer in techno and house, and Phil Hartnoll of Orbital, who returns following his popular 2023 set. They will be joined by Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, known for his eclectic DJ sets, and Barcelona’s Yung Prado. A strong roster of local talent—including Just Beca, Candela, Isla Sonido, and many others—will also take the stage, with a final showcase by Bliss and Sam Am.
The festival remains family-friendly with its "Sun Dance Family" sessions at 5:00 PM. These events, led by DJs Dita Konnat and Claudia Bliss alongside movement experts Koset Quintana and Yaiza Martinón, combine electronic music with dance and physical well-being.
Beyond the electronic stage, the festival will host 18 live bands. The lineup includes international acts like Fat Dog, Getdown Services, Ibibio Sound Machine, Bodega, Arxx, and Faeda. The national and Hispanic-American scene will be represented by artists such as VVV [Trippin’ You], Rufus T. Firefly, Carlos Ares, Barry B, EZEZEZ, Natalia Doco, and Ona Mafalda, alongside local favorites like Choclock, Xerach, Good Franco, Belice, and Pequeña Alaska.
The festival’s cultural program, "PheXperiences," is already underway with the "Formas de habitar" exhibition at the Eduardo Westerdahl Museum of Contemporary Art, highlighting the event’s commitment to emerging art. Tickets are currently available on Tickety.es.
