Phe Festival Returns to Puerto de la Cruz with Expanded Wellness and Science Program
The eleventh Phe Festival returns to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4–5, 2026, expanding its program to include wellness, science, and local wine alongside its commitment to sustainable music events.
The eleventh Phe Festival is set to return to Puerto de la Cruz on September 4 and 5, 2026, with a new approach to its management. The organizers are expanding beyond music to introduce "PheXperiences," a program focused on wellness, science, and local wine. This shift reflects a broader trend in the European festival scene, where sustainability and attendee experience are now essential for long-term success.
The festival’s commitment to sustainability has already been recognized by the British organization A Greener Future, which certified the 2025 edition for its environmental efforts. This seal of approval highlights the festival’s dedication to reducing its ecological footprint, a priority increasingly required by sponsors and public institutions.
The expanded program begins before the main concerts. In partnership with the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands (IAC), festival-goers can book guided tours of the Teide Observatory on August 31, September 2, and September 3. These 90-minute tours are exclusive to ticket holders, require advance booking, and are not recommended for children under eight.
On Saturday, September 5, the focus shifts to health and wellness. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the festival will host a yoga event featuring various styles, including Ashtanga and Yin, alongside body technique workshops and sound healing sessions. Additionally, Santi Estévez will record a live podcast focused on nutrition and healthy living.
Finally, the festival will celebrate local agriculture through the "Phe Wine" initiative. A dedicated area will offer tastings of wines from the Valle de La Orotava and Tacoronte-Acentejo regions, featuring wineries such as Arautava, Suertes del Marqués, 300 Líos, Las Galanas, Loher, and López Palacios. As a lead-up to the event, an interactive tasting and bottle customization workshop will take place on September 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Barrica de Los Momentos on Puerto Viejo Street. As with all special activities, advance registration is required to secure a spot.
