Park Club Europe Marks 40 Years, Cementing Europe Hotels International's Legacy
Park Club Europe celebrates 40 years, marking a significant milestone for Europe Hotels International, a family-run group renowned for its distinctive, character-filled hospitality and continued innovation in the hotel industry.
Park Club Europe is celebrating 40 years, a significant moment for Europe Hotels International. This family group has been shaping the hospitality scene in Tenerife for over fifty years. This anniversary honours not just a well-known resort, but also a family's approach to the hotel business, seeing it as an art. They focus on creating places with character, where every detail counts and guests feel like they belong. Even after four decades, Park Club Europe is still a leading choice in southern Tenerife.
The story of Europe Hotels International started in 1973 with the opening of Hotel Europe. It was the third hotel in Playa de Las Américas and set the stage for a unique style of hospitality. Since then, the Gassmann family has built a strong reputation for hotels that prioritize a friendly, family-like atmosphere.
This approach led to new ideas, like Park Club Europe, which was one of the first to offer an "All-Inclusive" holiday club. Later, they opened Hotel Villa Cortés 5* Gran Lujo, a stunning hotel inspired by Mexican design that brought a new level of luxury to southern Tenerife.
Park Club Europe now offers a blend of tradition and modern comfort, with guest satisfaction being the top priority. The Gassmann family's philosophy is evident throughout the resort, from the careful attention to detail and personal service to creating unforgettable stays.
The success of Park Club Europe highlights the ambition of Europe Hotels International. After establishing themselves in Tenerife, they expanded to Mallorca, Lisbon, Munich, and Berlin, managing a range of properties from family resorts to luxury hotels. Notably, their Munich hotel will also celebrate its 40th anniversary next year on September 15th, the same day Oktoberfest begins, mirroring Tenerife's four decades of hotel excellence.
Europe Hotels International continues to embrace new projects with the same passion they had fifty years ago. A major upcoming development is the full renovation of O’Artista Suites in Lisbon. It will be transformed into a five-star boutique hotel set to open in the summer of 2026. This project demonstrates the group's ongoing growth, dedication to quality, and ability to innovate while staying true to its family roots.
