Overnight Road Closures Scheduled for Hoya Fría in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will close Hoya Fría road to traffic and divert TITSA bus lines 903 and 923 starting at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, for overnight paving work.
Road maintenance work will cause significant traffic changes around the El Mayorazgo industrial estate this Tuesday, October 13. The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has scheduled milling and paving on Hoya Fría road, which will require parking and traffic restrictions between the military facility and Carmen Goya Hernández Street.
To minimize disruption to local businesses and heavy traffic, the work will take place at night. The road will close at 8:00 p.m. and remain shut until the repairs are finished; the council has not provided a specific time for when the road will reopen.
Public transport will also be affected. TITSA bus lines 903 and 923 will be diverted, and the Hoya Fría stops (codes 9100 and 9101) will be temporarily closed. Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops on Carmen Goya Street (codes 9102 and 9103) instead.
These repairs are part of a wider plan to improve road safety and infrastructure in the capital. The city is working closely with transport services to ensure these necessary upgrades cause as little disruption as possible to the area's daily operations.
