One dead, two seriously injured in Tenerife car-bus crash
One person died and two others, including an 11-year-old girl, were seriously injured in a car and bus collision on Tenerife's TF-47 road.
One person has died and two others are seriously injured after a car and a bus crashed on Tuesday morning in Guía de Isora, Tenerife.
The accident happened just before 11:30 AM. The 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center received a call about the collision on the TF-47 road, near the Cruce de la Vera.
The two seriously injured people were in the car with the person who died, who was the driver. They are an 11-year-old girl and a woman.
The girl was flown by medical helicopter to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital. The woman was taken by ambulance to Hospiten Sur.
At the scene, paramedics also treated a woman who was a passenger on the bus. She had minor injuries.
Firefighters helped medical staff and secured the area for the helicopter to land. Police are now investigating the cause of the crash.
