ONCE Cuponazo Awards €9.28M Across Spain; Valencia Takes €6.08M Jackpot
The ONCE Cuponazo draw on December 26 distributed 9.28 million euros across eight Spanish regions, with a 6.08 million euro top prize awarded in Valencia and significant wins in Andalusia, Madrid, and the Canary Islands.
The ONCE Cuponazo draw on Friday, December 26, spread a lot of prizes across a large part of Spain. In total, the draw gave out 9.28 million euros across eight regions, with a big impact in the Valencian Community and Andalusia. The Canary Islands were also among the winners, receiving 160,000 euros in various parts of the archipelago.
The number ending in '13' was the key to the draw, helping many tickets win 40,000 euros – a prize won in dozens of towns. What made it even more special was that the draw happened during a special time of year, right in the middle of Christmas, which made the wins feel even more significant.
The biggest prize went to Valencia, where a Cuponazo ticket ending in '13' paid out 6.08 million euros. The winning ticket was sold at a spot next to the Arena Shopping Center, across from the Levante UD stadium. The vendor, who joined ONCE in April 2024, sold the full winning ticket with all five digits and the correct series.
This main prize made up a large part of the total prize money, but it wasn't the only big win in the Valencian Community. Other towns like Burjassot and Benaguasil also received 40,000 euros each, showing prizes were spread out across the region.
After the Valencian Community, Andalusia received the next largest amount of prizes, totaling 1.2 million euros. These prizes were given out via 30 winning tickets, each worth 40,000 euros, spread across various provinces.
The Almerian town of Viator was a notable winner, receiving 640,000 euros from 16 tickets. In the province of Seville, the town of Burguillos won 120,000 euros, and another 40,000 euros went to the city of Seville itself.
Other prizes were won in Malaga (120,000 euros) and Cordoba (80,000 euros). Several towns in Cadiz also saw wins, including Chiclana de la Frontera, Cadiz city, Chipiona, and Algeciras, each winning 40,000 euros.
The Cuponazo draw also brought wins to the Canary Islands, where 160,000 euros were distributed, split into four prizes of 40,000 euros. Winning tickets were sold in both the province of Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, two winning tickets won a total of 80,000 euros. Another 40,000 euros went to the town of Agüimes, also on Gran Canaria. Meanwhile, in Arona, in the south of Tenerife, another 40,000 euro prize was won.
This distribution shows the regular presence of ONCE draws in the Canary Islands, where tickets are sold both in shops and through official channels.
The Community of Madrid was another big winner, with a total of 1.04 million euros. Most of this, one million euros, went to the capital, spread across many tickets sold by different vendors.
In Madrid, individual prizes ranged from 40,000 euros to 360,000 euros, won across various parts of the city. The town of Coslada also received 40,000 euros.
This wide spread of prizes shows how ONCE's sales network reaches everywhere, with vendors in neighborhoods, on streets, and in partner shops across the region.
In Catalonia, the draw saw 440,000 euros distributed among 11 winning tickets. Towns like Palafrugell, Barcelona, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and El Vendrell were among the winners, with prizes from 40,000 to 280,000 euros.
Meanwhile, Castilla-La Mancha also had several 40,000 euro winners in towns across Toledo and Albacete provinces, including Yuncler, Fuensalida, Casarrubios del Monte, and the city of Albacete itself.
Finally, there were also 40,000 euro prizes in Galicia and Euskadi, making a total of eight regions that won prizes in this draw.
The ONCE Cuponazo draw happens every Friday and costs three euros per ticket. The top prize is six million euros for the ticket with the correct number and series. There are also 134 extra prizes of 40,000 euros for tickets matching the five digits of the winning number.
The prize system also includes smaller wins, such as 500 euros for matching the first or last four digits, 50 euros for three digits, 6 euros for two digits, and a refund of three euros if you match the first or last digit.
All official information about the draws is available on the ONCE website (https://www.once.es) and its authorized gaming platform (https://www.juegosonce.es).

In Spain, responsible gaming is also supported by government bodies like the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (https://www.ordenacionjuego.es), which sets rules and advice for safe and informed gambling.
Today, ONCE tickets are sold by over 20,700 vendors, as well as at authorized partner locations and through official online channels. This setup ensures wide coverage and easy access to the draws, all while keeping the necessary controls in line with current rules.
