Comedian Omayra Cazorla will replace Antonia San Juan at the V Mujeres World Fest in Adeje on December 5th with her show "Así somos," while San Juan will still receive the Mujeres World Fest Award.

Comedian Omayra Cazorla from Gran Canaria will be performing at the V Mujeres World Fest on December 5th at the Adeje Auditorium. Her show, "Así somos," is taking the place of Antonia San Juan's "Entrevista con mi hija Mari," which San Juan had to cancel due to health reasons.

Despite not being able to perform, San Juan will still be honored with the Mujeres World Fest Award as planned. If you already bought tickets for San Juan's show, they will be valid for Cazorla's performance. If you'd prefer a refund, you can get one through the tickety.es platform.

Cazorla's new show is described as a lighthearted, slightly rebellious, but very funny and relatable performance. She's a well-loved comedian in the Canary Islands, known for her energetic style and ability to connect with audiences by humorously discussing everyday life. In "Así somos," Cazorla will talk about our fast-paced world and how it can sometimes feel overwhelming.

From December 1st to 7th, the Adeje Auditorium will host a variety of cultural events, including film, comedy, music, theater, and literature. Singer Sole Giménez will mark her 40th anniversary on stage with a special concert. Psychologist Amagoia Eizaguirre will discuss how habits can lead to real lifestyle changes, and writer Anabel Vélez will lead a book club discussion on Patti Smith's autobiography, "Just Kids."

The festival will also feature the screening of "La infiltrada," a film that won two Goya Awards this year. Comedian Alma La Forte will offer a sarcastic look at different stages of women's lives. The association Mujeres Acompañando a Mujeres will host a laughter therapy workshop, and the Carrera por la Vida-Walk For Life Foundation will present "Bold," a photo exhibition by Caroline Sikkenk featuring portraits of women who have lost their hair due to breast cancer, aiming to raise awareness and honor them.

The festival is also committed to environmental responsibility, aligning with the producer's dedication to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Mujeres World Fest aims to celebrate women in various artistic fields. The event is supported by the Adeje City Council, Costa Adeje, the Government of the Canary Islands (through its Ministry of Tourism, Promotur, and the brand Islas Canarias-Latitud de Vida), and the Canarian Institute for Cultural Development (ICDC). Collaborators include Carrera por la Vida, Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea, Ahembo – Pepsi Cola, and Sonopluss. More information about the festival can be found at www.mujeresworldfest.com.
