In Tenerife, Titsa buses switch to the winter schedule: changes to routes and timetables.

From September 8, Titsa buses in Tenerife (a company owned by the Cabildo de Tenerife) will switch to the winter schedule. This is due to the end of the holidays and the beginning of the school year.

The main changes concern routes 100 and 103, which run between Puerto de la Cruz and the major cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna.

Thus, bus No. 100 (Estación Puerto de la Cruz - Intercambiador de Santa Cruz directa) will continue to run directly between Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz. It will run more frequently – every half hour, including on weekends. Although this bus will not stop in La Laguna, it will make stops near the Intercambiador for convenient access to the university and hospitals (Campus de Guajara, Santiago Martín, Hospital Universitario, Nuevo Obrero, Hospital La Candelaria, Fray Luis de Granada, Meridiano e Intercambiador de Santa Cruz).

Bus No. 103 (Estación Puerto de la Cruz - Intercambiador de La Laguna directa) will change its route and will not run to the capital. It will directly connect Puerto de la Cruz with La Laguna, so there will be more seats for passengers between these cities.

And those who need to get to Santa Cruz or La Laguna from the stops on the TF-5 highway can use bus No. 102 (Estación Puerto de la Cruz por Las Arenas, paradas TF-5, Intercambiador de La Laguna, paradas TF-5, Intercambiador de Santa Cruz). Its schedule will not change.

The schedule will also change and additional trips will be added on the following routes:

• 014 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-La Laguna)
• 012 (La Laguna-El Sauzal por Tacoronte)
• 021 (Tacoronte-Mesa del Mar)
• 023 (Tacoronte-El Pris por El Calvario)
• 050 (La Laguna-Tegueste-Bajamar-Punta del Hidalgo)
• 055 (La Laguna-Valle de Guerra-Tejina-Punta del Hidalgo)

The city bus No. 224 in La Laguna is also switching to the winter schedule. It will no longer run to the beaches of Jover and la Barranquera, but will go to Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo.

The number of trips on weekends will be reduced on the following routes:

• 120 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Candelaria-Puertito de Güímar-Güímar)
• 122 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Las Caletillas-Candelaria)
• 138 and 139 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Radazul-Tabaiba)

In the north of the island, bus No. 347 (La Orotava-Palo Blanco-Realejo Alto) will run more frequently on weekdays, and bus No. 366 (La Orotava-Las Dehesas-El Rincón) will run on weekends. The number of trips on bus No. 376 (La Orotava-Las Dehesas-El Rincón) will be reduced. The schedule of bus No. 380 (La Corujera-Tigaiga) will also change.

Bus No. 546, which runs between Realejo Alto and El Socorro beach, will no longer run. And bus No. 369, which runs between Buenavista and Teno, will return to the winter schedule from October 1.

In the south of the island, from September 8, trips that were only available on school days will be restored on the following routes:

• 410
• 412
• 419
• 421
• 463
• 486

The departure times will be changed on some trips of bus No. 416 (Granadilla-Valle San Lorenzo-Los Cristianos). And bus No. 467 (Costa del Silencio-Los Cristianos-Estación Costa Adeje-La Caleta) will have an updated weekend schedule with more night trips.

Bus No. 493 (Guía de Isora, Alcalá por TF-463) will change its route from Guía de Isora to Alcalá, passing through the Playa San Juan road (TF-463), Playa de San Juan, the TF-47 road and Alcalá. The schedule will also change on weekdays and weekends.

Similarly, bus No. 494 (Guía de Isora, Alcalá por TF-463) will change its route both from Guía de Isora to Alcalá and in the opposite direction. In one direction, it will travel via Guía de Isora (C/ del Campo) - Tejina de Guía (TF-82) - Piedra Hincada - Playa - Alcalá, and in the opposite direction – from Alcalá - Playa San Juan - Piedra Hincada - TF_82 - Guía de Isora (C/ del Campo).

The schedule will also change on both weekdays and weekends.

In the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, buses No. 934 and 936 (Intercambiador-Taco-Santa María del Mar-Añaza-Intercambiador) will run more frequently on weekdays. And bus No. 910 (Intercambiador-Playa Las Teresitas) will run less frequently on weekdays and weekends, with an interval of 10 minutes.

In addition, bus No. 946 (Intercambiador de Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Taganana-Almáciga) will run less frequently, and bus No. 948 between Azanos - Playa de Almáciga - Benijo will stop running altogether.

With the start of studies at the University of La Laguna, Titsa is re-launching buses to make it easier for students to get from different parts of the island to their faculties.

The following routes are being restored:

• 605 (La Orotava-Campus Guajara-hospitales)
• 606 (Icod de los Vinos-Los Realejos-Campus de Guajara)
• 608 (Los Realejos-Campus de Guajara)
• 611 (Costa Adeje-Campus Guajara-Aulario-Hospital Universitario de Canarias)
