New Cabaret Show 'Vil Vodevil' Debuts in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s nightlife is getting a fresh update this Thursday with the launch of Vil Vodevil. This new show aims to revive the cabaret tradition by blending various artistic styles. Moving away from traditional theaters and into the intimate setting of Crudo Bar, the event reflects a growing trend of hosting performing arts in local venues that serve as hubs for independent culture.

The show begins at 8:00 p.m. at 9 Clavel Street and features a mix of drag, dance, and live music. The lineup includes performers Altair Leirós, Demiii, Virgen, and Intrussiva, with Eduardo Zerolo hosting the evening. By choosing a smaller venue, the organizers hope to break down the barrier between performers and the audience, staying true to the spirit of classic variety shows that have long provided a space for social commentary and self-expression.

More than just entertainment, this initiative is about reclaiming leisure spaces for creative freedom.
