In Tenerife, in Candelaria, a passenger attacked a bus driver after being asked to leave the vehicle due to rude behavior.

On Saturday, August 23, another bus incident occurred in the Canary Islands. This time in Candelaria, Tenerife, in the Plaza del Terror, a passenger attacked the driver.

According to the Los Jardineros – Tenerife Facebook page, it all started when the driver asked the passenger to get off the bus.

Reportedly, the man was harassing other people, pushing, and generally behaving rudely. The driver decided it would be better if he left the bus.

And then, according to eyewitnesses, the passenger hit the driver and even tore off his badge.

All of this was witnessed by children, who were very frightened and started crying.

People nearby say that the quarrel quickly escalated into shoving and fighting. This frightened everyone on the bus and those waiting at the bus stop, as the fight lasted for several minutes.

The video shows that the driver was eventually able to calm the troublemaker down.

It is clear that this story once again raises concerns about safety on public transport. Something needs to be done to protect both drivers and passengers.
