Nearly 7 tons of garbage were removed from Los Enojados beach.
As part of the city's coastal protection program, 6,800 kg of waste were removed from Los Enojados beach with the help of special equipment and the participation of local authorities.
Last Friday, there was a cleanup at Los Enojados beach in the El Fraile area (Arona). There was a lot of garbage, so they decided to clean up and restore the beach to its natural appearance.
A total of 6,800 kilograms of waste were removed! All of this fit into seven large containers.
An excavator, a crane, a truck, and three pickup trucks were used for the cleanup. Twelve people from the coastal zone and several assistants worked on it.
The local police, the Civil Guard, environmentalists from the Canary Islands, and the coast guard from Santa Cruz de Tenerife also helped.
This cleanup is part of the city's plan to protect the coasts. They want to prevent illegal construction and landfills. They promise that other beaches will also be put in order.
