Two locations in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have shared a first-prize win in the June 4 National Lottery draw, which saw the winning number 99242 distributed across several Spanish provinces.

Luck has struck Santa Cruz de Tenerife once again, continuing a winning streak across the Canary Islands. According to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (LAE), the National Lottery draw on Thursday, June 4, awarded part of its first prize to two locations on the island.

The winning number for the 30,000-euro first prize was 99242. The lucky tickets were sold at a shop on Avenida Asuncionistas in the capital and at a service station in Barranco Las Torres, Adeje. This win is part of a wider distribution, with other winning tickets sold in Valladolid, Alicante, Almería, Ibiza, A Coruña, Madrid, Málaga, and Toledo.

The second prize, awarded to the number 69176, was more localized, with winning tickets sold in Barcelona, Seville, and Guipúzcoa.

These results highlight the two ways to play the lottery in Spain: through traditional paper tickets or digital platforms. While paper tickets must be kept safe to claim a prize, the digital method—which allows players to pick numbers manually or at random—automates the payment process. Regardless of how you play, the odds of winning remain the same, based on the specific rules of each draw.
