Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Concerts, cinema, festivals and entertainment for the whole family

Santa Cruz de Tenerife has prepared many interesting things for people of all ages! There will be concerts, workshops for young people, film screenings, events in libraries, and, of course, folk festivals, such as the Tagana Festival.

Already this Thursday, August 21, at 20:30, the Canarian rock band Escaldón de Golfos will perform in the Sala de Arte Los Lavaderos. The guys have been playing together for 12 years and promise a fiery evening with hits by ACDC, Steppenwolf, Calamaro, Ariel Rot, Mojinos, as well as songs by Luis Eduardo Aute and Pablo Milanes.

Also on Thursday, August 21, at 19:00, Akira Kurosawa's film "Dersu Uzala (The Hunter)" will be shown in the original language with Spanish subtitles. This is part of the "50 Years Later: 1975" series. Admission is free, but hurry, seating is limited!

And from Friday, August 22, to Sunday, August 24, at 19:00, you can watch Luisa Curvoisier's film "The Perfect Recipe" at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes. The film is in French with Spanish subtitles and is not recommended for children under 12.

Don't miss the Sixth Tagana Festival! It will take place this Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23, in San Andrés and Tagana, in the Anaga massif. By the way, this year Anaga celebrates 10 years since it was declared a biosphere reserve.

And also, there are many interesting things for young people as part of the Distrito Joven program.

And the municipal libraries have prepared an entertainment program for children and their parents.
