Murcia Airport will offer 37 weekly flights to 11 destinations in the UK, Ireland, and Spain this winter, including a new route to Tenerife North.

Murcia Airport is boosting its connections this winter, from October 26th to March, with 11 destinations in the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Five airlines will operate 37 weekly flights, including a new route to Tenerife North.

You'll be able to fly to London (Luton, Gatwick, and Stansted), Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, and Bristol. Within Spain, there are flights to Barcelona, Gran Canaria, and now Tenerife North.

The Tenerife North route is the big addition, having started in April, adding more options and four extra flights each week.

Volotea is also increasing its Barcelona service from two to three flights per week, making it easier to get to and from Murcia.

These changes mean better connections to important destinations, especially the UK, which is the biggest source of tourists for the Murcia region. The improved links to the Canary Islands and Barcelona are also a plus.

This winter, the airlines flying from Murcia Airport are:

  • Binter: Gran Canaria and Tenerife North
  • EasyJet: Bristol, London-Luton, and London-Gatwick
  • Ryanair: Dublin, Birmingham, London-Stansted, and Manchester
  • Volotea: Barcelona
  • Air Arabia: Nador, Morocco

Murcia Airport saw 112,507 passengers in September 2025, a 2.5% increase compared to the previous year.

There were 820 flights, up 3.8% from September 2024. International travel is driving the airport's growth, with 100,714 international passengers (a 5.7% increase) and a 4% rise in international flights.

So far this year (January to September), the airport has handled 767,115 passengers, a 2.3% increase compared to 2024.

The number of international passengers has risen by 4.5%, confirming the airport's importance for travel, tourism, and the Murcia region's economy.
