According to local reports, the crash occurred on Camino Las Peras, the road connecting the town center to the Vía de Ronda. An SUV belonging to the Environment department veered off the road and struck a palm tree.

The driver, an environmental agent, suffered a finger injury. The force of the impact caused significant damage to the Toyota Hilux, which lost an axle and sustained heavy damage to its front and right side.

La Laguna Local Police arrived at the scene to manage traffic and oversee the removal of the vehicle, which caused delays for commuters while the road was cleared.
