Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in El Sauzal Collision
A 36-year-old motorcyclist is in serious condition following a collision with a car on Tenerife’s TF-152 road in El Sauzal on Sunday evening.
Road safety on Tenerife’s secondary roads is back in the spotlight following a serious accident on the TF-152 in El Sauzal. According to the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center, a 36-year-old man is currently in serious condition at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC).
The crash, which involved a motorcycle and a car, took place on Sunday evening shortly after 8:00 p.m. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with multiple injuries, once again highlighting the risks faced by riders on conventional roads. These routes, which often lack physical barriers between lanes and see a mix of different types of traffic, account for a high number of serious accidents across the islands.
Authorities are now investigating the exact cause of the collision. This incident serves as a reminder of the need for extreme caution on the island’s roads, where heavy traffic and challenging terrain require constant focus from all drivers.
