Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Tenerife’s TF-1 Highway
A 58-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash on Tenerife's TF-1 motorway this Saturday.
Road safety on the Canary Islands' major highways is back in the spotlight following another accident on the TF-1. According to the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center, a 58-year-old man required urgent medical attention after falling from his motorcycle on the Tenerife South motorway.
The incident occurred this Saturday at approximately 6:00 p.m., once again highlighting the risks motorcyclists face on high-speed roads. Emergency services arrived quickly, and paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) stabilized the man at the scene. He was later taken to the Hospital del Sur with serious injuries.
Accidents like this keep the focus on traffic safety along the TF-1, one of the busiest roads in the region. While medical teams treated the injured rider, the Civil Guard arrived to secure the area and begin an investigation to determine exactly how the fall occurred.
