The accident happened at 11:30 AM. The Canary Islands Government's 112 emergency call centre received an alert about a crash between a car and a motorcycle on the TF-13, at kilometer 7, and that the motorcyclist needed medical attention.
Emergency medical personnel treated the injured rider before taking him to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC). Meanwhile, the Civil Guard and Local Police managed traffic and prepared the accident report.
