Accident rates on Tenerife’s major roads are under scrutiny again following a crash on the TF-5 in La Matanza de Acentejo this Wednesday. According to the Canary Islands’ emergency services (CECOES 112), a collision between a car and a motorcycle left a 29-year-old man with moderate injuries.
Emergency teams were alerted at 3:21 p.m. and quickly arrived at the scene, including the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), the Civil Guard, and road maintenance crews. Paramedics treated the motorcyclist on-site before taking him to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands for further care.
