Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Collision in Adeje
A 22-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized with moderate chest injuries following a collision with a car on the TF-47 in Adeje, Tenerife, on Wednesday morning.
Road accidents in the south of Tenerife are back in the spotlight after a crash in Adeje this Wednesday. According to the Canary Islands’ 112 emergency service, a 22-year-old man was hospitalized following a collision between his motorcycle and a car on the TF-47 near Armeñime.
The accident occurred at 8:16 a.m., once again highlighting the risks faced by motorcyclists on the island's busy roads. Emergency teams, including advanced and basic life support units, arrived quickly to treat the young man. He was found to have moderate chest injuries and was stabilized at the scene before being taken to Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital for further testing.
The incident required a coordinated response from medical staff, police, and road maintenance crews to secure the area and manage traffic. Because the TF-47 connects busy tourist and residential areas, it carries a high volume of traffic, making safety interventions particularly challenging. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
