A 39-year-old man has died after his motorcycle crashed into a parked van in Gáldar on Sunday.
The emergency services received a call at 4:23 PM reporting that the motorcyclist had hit a parked vehicle and was trapped underneath.
Firefighters worked to free the man, but he was found to be in cardiorespiratory arrest.
Medical teams attempted to revive him, but sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful.
Police are investigating the incident, which is believed to have occurred after the man lost control of his motorcycle.
