According to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES 1-1-2), a 37-year-old man suffered multiple serious injuries after his motorbike collided with a car on Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at 10:19 AM at kilometer 2 of the TF-28. Emergency services were immediately called, a standard procedure for incidents of this severity. The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) sent both an advanced medical ambulance and a basic life support ambulance to the scene.
Paramedics treated the man at the site of the crash, confirming the seriousness of his injuries. After stabilizing and immobilizing him, he was transported in critical condition to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
Local Police from San Cristóbal de La Laguna managed traffic in the area to ensure safety. They also began an official police report, which is essential for clarifying the accident's circumstances and determining any potential responsibilities.
