Arafo police located a 42-year-old woman, missing since Wednesday, walking on a South Tenerife service road Friday morning and took her to a health center where she was confirmed stable.

Arafo police found a 42-year-old woman on Friday morning who had been missing from the town since Wednesday.

The woman, Fabiola R.G., 42, was located by officers walking on a service road next to the TF-1 highway in South Tenerife.

Sources said several people had told police they saw Fabiola, who lives in the El Carmen neighborhood, in the coastal area. Tips suggested she might be in places like El Socorro (Güímar), Lima and La Viuda beaches (Arafo), or near the Camino de El Socorro bus stop or Camino El Taro.

However, a patrol of local officers decided to search other areas instead of these specific locations.

Around 11:00 AM, while patrolling the service road parallel to the TF-1, near a crane company's headquarters, officers saw a woman walking with a hood up. Near the tunnel linking that road to the Güímar Industrial Estate, police stopped and confirmed it was Fabiola.

She was cooperative and agreed to get into the police car. She appeared tired and hungry, so officers took her to a health center. There, doctors confirmed she was in stable condition.

From the start, local police informed the Civil Guard, who had originally taken the missing person report.
