Metrotenerife tram services will experience significant disruptions from January 31 to February 2, with Line 1 partially operating and Line 2 suspended, due to preventive track maintenance.

Metrotenerife reminds all its users that the tram service will have major changes for three days, from this Saturday, January 31st, until Monday, February 2nd. This is due to preventive maintenance work on the railway tracks. Normal service will resume on Tuesday, February 3rd.

During these three days, Line 1 will only run between the Intercambiador and Chimisay stops. For the rest of the route, from Chimisay to La Trinidad, an alternative bus service will be available. These buses, coordinated with TITSA, will stop near the affected tram stations.

Line 2 will not be running, and Line 1's weekend night service will also be suspended.

The maintenance work involves replacing rails in the Taco, Hospital, and Padre Anchieta tunnels. Metrotenerife chose this public holiday weekend for the work because it's a time when fewer people travel, aiming to reduce inconvenience.
