The Mappa Festival is more than just a gathering for electronic music fans; it also aims to strengthen Tenerife's reputation on the global electronic music scene. The first artists for the lineup have been announced, featuring Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, and Fleur Shore.
Marco Carola, born in Naples in 1975, has been a key player in European techno and tech house for the past thirty years. He started his career in the vibrant Naples music scene of the late 1980s. By the mid-1990s, his vinyl releases were known worldwide. His sound, known for deep basslines and sharp percussion, made him a leading name in Italian techno. Since 2000, Carola's global reach has grown significantly. He's famous for his "Music On" project, has held residencies at legendary clubs like Pacha Ibiza, and has performed at major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
Also on the bill is Franky Rizardo, a Dutch DJ and producer known in the house and tech house scene for his energetic, dancefloor-ready sound. He founded LTF Records, has released music on important labels, and regularly plays at major events across Europe and America. British DJ and producer Fleur Shore has quickly made a name for herself in tech house. Her tracks feature powerful basslines and catchy vocals, earning her support from top industry figures and establishing her fresh sound in clubs and events worldwide.
