Man Stabbed in Tenerife Fight; Suspect Arrested
A man was stabbed during a fight in Abades, southern Tenerife on Wednesday evening, leading to his hospitalization and the arrest of a 44-year-old Spanish man.
A man was stabbed during a fight in southern Tenerife on Wednesday evening. The incident happened around 8 PM in Abades, a coastal area within the municipality of Arico.
Civil Guard officers from Granadilla de Abona and local police were called to the scene. Reports suggest two people were involved in an altercation when one of them used a bladed weapon, injuring the other.
Paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) treated the injured man before taking him to a hospital's emergency department.
Shortly after, law enforcement arrested a 44-year-old Spanish man, who is believed to be the attacker. Civil Guard officers also gathered statements from witnesses.
