Man in Serious Condition Following Kitchen Fire in Güímar, Tenerife

A man remains in serious condition at Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital following a fire at a business in Güímar, Tenerife, this Wednesday.

The 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center reported that the fire broke out at an establishment on Avenida Santa Cruz. Emergency services were alerted at 3:40 p.m., and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. They successfully extinguished the blaze, which was contained within the building's kitchen.

Paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service provided immediate medical care to the injured man. After stabilizing him at the scene, they transported him to the hospital for specialized treatment.
