Man Found Dead Floating Off Tenerife Beach
A man was found dead floating in the sea off El Cabezo beach in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife, prompting an investigation by the Civil Guard.
Emergency services, Cecoes 112, reported on Saturday that a man was found dead, floating in the sea off El Cabezo beach in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife.
Emergency crews responded after an alert at 2:02 PM stated that a person had been pulled from the water after being found floating in the sea.
Beach lifeguards confirmed the person was in cardiac arrest and immediately began CPR.
Paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service continued advanced CPR, but it was unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead.
Local Police also assisted the emergency teams, and the Civil Guard is handling the investigation.
