Man Critical After Arona Assault
A 50-year-old man is in critical condition at the hospital after being assaulted early Tuesday morning on Juan Reverón Sierra street in Arona, with National Police investigating the incident.
A 50-year-old man is in critical condition at the hospital after being assaulted early Tuesday morning on Juan Reverón Sierra street in Arona.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident around 12:54 AM. National Police officers were the first to arrive and found the man in cardiorespiratory arrest. They immediately began resuscitation efforts.
Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service and a local health center soon joined them, continuing advanced life support. They successfully revived the man.
Once stabilized, he was taken to the University Hospital of La Candelaria, where he remains in critical condition.
The National Police are now investigating the assault.
