Spanish National Police have arrested a 22-year-old man for two violent robberies at businesses in Los Realejos, Tenerife, following a public-assisted investigation.

National Police in northern Tenerife have arrested a 22-year-old man accused of two violent robberies at businesses in Los Realejos. Officers from the Puerto de la Cruz-Los Realejos station were able to link the suspect to both crimes thanks to help from the public.

The investigation began on June 8, following an attempted robbery at a local shop. In that incident, the suspect tried to steal money by threatening an employee, but the worker resisted and forced him to flee. Police later connected this attempt to a second robbery in the same town, where the suspect successfully stole cash after threatening another employee.

The man has been brought before a judge to face two counts of robbery with violence and intimidation. As a precautionary measure, the court has issued a restraining order, banning the suspect from approaching the businesses involved while the investigation continues. This case highlights the importance of quick police action and community cooperation in keeping local businesses safe.
