Arona Local Police arrested a man for assault and disobedience after he became violent and injured an officer during a disturbance at a Tenerife holiday complex.
Arona Local Police have arrested a man following a disturbance at a holiday complex between El Palm-Mar and Guargacho in Tenerife. The man was taken into custody for disobedience and assaulting police officers after a dispute at the site turned violent.
The incident began last Saturday when the man, who had arrived the previous night as a guest, began acting aggressively toward other visitors. Management tried to resolve the situation, but when they asked him to leave, he refused. By 7:40 p.m., the situation had escalated, and police were called to the scene.
When two police patrols arrived, the man refused to identify himself. Although his companion eventually provided his details, the man became increasingly hostile, insulting the officers.
The situation turned physical when the man began punching and kicking the officers. One officer suffered a finger injury during the struggle before the man was finally subdued and taken into custody. He now faces legal charges for his actions.
