Man, 78, Dies in Tenerife Car Plunge
A 78-year-old man died Saturday, December 6, in Tenerife after his car drove off Chamizo street in La Victoria de Acentejo and fell six meters.
A 78-year-old man died on Saturday, December 6, in Tenerife after his car drove off Chamizo street in La Victoria de Acentejo.
Canary Islands emergency services (CECOES 112) reported that they received an alert about the accident at 6:25 PM and dispatched emergency teams.
The vehicle left the road and fell approximately six meters.
Tenerife Firefighters freed the man from the car, but paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) could only confirm his death at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The Civil Guard is investigating the incident.
