Luar Na Lubre to Close ‘Spring at the Foundation’ Series in La Palma

The "Spring at the Foundation 2026" series in La Palma comes to a close tonight with a major international performance. The CajaCanarias Foundation has announced that the folk band Luar Na Lubre will take the stage at the Teatro Circo de Marte in Santa Cruz de La Palma at 8:30 p.m. as part of their 40th-anniversary tour.

Since forming in 1986, the A Coruña-based group has become a major name in global folk music. Over the course of their career, they have released 24 albums and sold more than 350,000 copies. Their success has been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2025 Castelao Medal, nine Music Awards, and two Gold Records.
