The 17th Loro Parque Siam Park cycling tour will take place in Tenerife.
The 17th annual Loro Parque Siam Park bicycle tour will take place in Tenerife on October 12, uniting the north and south of the island with an 85-kilometer ecological bike ride.
On Sunday, October 12, the seventeenth Loro Parque Siam Park bike tour will take place in Tenerife. This is a non-commercial event that will unite the north and south of the island. Participants will be able to ride bicycles, visit Loro Parque and Siam Park, and all this in an environmentally friendly and fun way! The bike tour is very popular and gathers many cyclists every year.
The event was officially announced yesterday in the Salón Noble Cabildo de Tenerife. The presentation was attended by Yolanda Molina (Sports Advisor of the Cabildo de Tenerife), Christoph Kiessling (Vice President of Grupo Loro Parque), Adriano Cordoves (President of Club Ciclista Loro Parque Los Silos Natural) and Agustín Rodríguez (Secretary of the Canary Islands Cycling Federation).
The bike tour starts at 8:30 a.m. from Loro Parque. The 85-kilometer route will pass through various cities: Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava, Los Realejos, San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, Icod de los Vinos, El Tanque, Garachico, Los Silos, Santiago del Teide, Guía de Isora and Adeje. The finish line is in the territory of Siam Park. After the award ceremony, participants will be able to relax and have fun at the water park's attractions.
The organizers have taken care of everything: there will be a mechanic to help in case of a breakdown, a bus for those who cannot continue riding, and a special van to collect bicycles.
At the finish line, in addition to a delicious lunch, there will be prize draws and awards for the youngest and most experienced cyclist (male and female), as well as the team with the largest number of participants.
