Loquillo to Headline Tenerife Peñón Fest This October
The Tenerife Peñón Fest will debut at the Santa Cruz Palmetum on October 23rd and 24th, headlined by Loquillo in his first Canary Islands performance in five years.
The Tenerife Peñón Fest has announced its schedule for October 23rd and 24th, taking place at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Organizers hope the event will become a staple of the island's cultural calendar, with the return of legendary musician Loquillo serving as the highlight of the opening day.
This marks Loquillo’s first performance in the Canary Islands in five years. His appearance is part of his Corazones legendarios tour, which has already drawn large crowds to major venues like the Sant Jordi Club and the Movistar Arena. During this show—his only confirmed date in the region—he will perform updated versions of his classic hits.
The festival lineup blends established stars with popular indie and pop-rock acts. Joining Loquillo are La La Love You, Pignoise, Biznaga, Maika Makovski, Carlos Sadness, Meliflou, and Postcode. Organizers are expected to announce one final artist soon to complete the roster.
Beyond the music, the festival is designed as a complete experience. Located in the Palmetum parking area, the site will feature food trucks, leisure zones, and a focus on sustainability and accessibility.
With a career spanning five decades and dozens of albums, Loquillo’s presence is expected to be a major draw for the capital’s autumn event season. Tickets for both days are now available through the festival’s official website.
