Loquillo and Amaia to Headline Tenerife Peñón Fest 2024
The Tenerife Peñón Fest returns to Santa Cruz on October 23 and 24, featuring headliners Loquillo and Amaia alongside a diverse lineup of rock and independent artists.
The Tenerife Peñón Fest is set to become a major highlight of the Canary Islands' music calendar. Taking place on October 23 and 24 at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the festival aims to stand out by blending legendary Spanish rock with the freshest sounds in independent music.
This year, the festival is expanding its venue and placing a stronger focus on sustainability and high-quality food. The lineup features two iconic headliners from different generations of Spanish music.
Rock legend Loquillo makes his return to the islands after five years as part of his Corazones Legendarios tour. Fans can expect a journey through his storied career, which began in the early 1980s with hits like El ritmo del garaje.
Representing a new generation, Amaia will perform in the Canary Islands for the first time. The Navarre-born artist will showcase her latest work, Si abro los ojos no es real, as part of her Arenas 2026 tour. Her performance, which leans into folk and introspective sounds, highlights the festival’s goal of appealing to a wide, trend-conscious audience.
The rest of the lineup reflects the festival's eclectic spirit. On October 23, the stage will feature Pignoise, Maika Makovski, Biznaga, and Postcode. On Saturday, October 24, the lineup continues with La La Love You, Carlos Sadness, and Melifluo. Organizers have also hinted that one final surprise act will be announced soon.
Beyond the music, the festival is focused on improving the overall attendee experience through better accessibility and professional catering services. For more information and tickets, visit the festival’s official website.
