The LOBA Collective will host its Loba x Guachinches event on October 3rd in La Orotava, Tenerife, blending independent music performances with traditional local dining to foster community-driven cultural experiences.

The LOBA Collective is changing how culture is experienced in the Canary Islands by moving performances out of traditional theaters and into the heart of local communities. Their latest event, Loba x Guachinches, is scheduled for October 3rd at Guachinche Finca El Pino in La Orotava, Tenerife.

Rather than the crowded atmosphere of a large festival, this event offers an intimate setting that blends independent music with traditional local food. Starting at 1:00 PM, guests can enjoy performances by musical acts Cañón Tigre and Duele. Tickets are priced at 23 euros, which includes both the concerts and a meal with drinks.

This format reflects a growing movement in Spain to make culture more sustainable by supporting local businesses. By hosting events in guachinches—traditional establishments known for their home-cooked meals—the LOBA Collective highlights these venues as essential community hubs. The dining experience, featuring local staples like garbanzas and fresh meat and fish dishes, helps bridge the gap between the audience and the artists, creating a more personal connection.

The day’s schedule begins with lunch from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Cañón Tigre will take the stage at 3:00 PM, followed by Duele at 4:00 PM. Now in its fourth year, the festival has expanded across the islands, continuing its mission to treat culture as a living, community-driven process that celebrates the unique identity of the region.
