Leal Theatre Announces Packed 50-Event Program for 2025-2026 Season Finale
The Leal Theatre in La Laguna will host nearly 50 diverse events, including concerts, comedy, and theatrical productions, to conclude its 2025-2026 season.
The Leal Theatre in La Laguna is gearing up for a busy end to its 2025-2026 season, with nearly 50 events scheduled between September and December. By blending performing arts, music, and comedy, the venue continues to establish itself as a cultural hub in Tenerife, hosting a mix of local productions alongside regional and international festivals.
The season’s calendar is notably diverse. Music lovers can look forward to everything from the Cuban sounds of Septeto Santiaguero and Portuguese fado from Camané to classical performances, including Carmina Burana and the opera The Golden Dragon. The stage will also feature popular artists like Rafa Sánchez, Pasión Vega, and Víctor Manuel, alongside specialized events like the Gospel Canarias Fest, the Tensamba Festival, and the Mar Abierto Festival.
Comedy also takes center stage this season through a partnership with the Reíslas Festival. The lineup includes performances by Pedro Ángel Roca, Miguel Lago, Ignatius Farray, and Kike Pérez, as well as a special 20th-anniversary show from the comedy troupe Abubukaka.
Theatre remains a cornerstone of the venue, with a variety of productions including La Inmortalidad by Delirium Teatro and the traditional staging of Don Juan Tenorio by Timaginas Teatro. The International Clownbaret Festival (FIC) will also mark its 20th anniversary with a commemorative gala at the theatre.
Rounding out the schedule are film and family-friendly events. The Leal will host the opening and closing galas for the Isla Calavera Fantastic Film Festival, while the holiday season will feature the musical El elfo and festive shows like Venezuela habla gaiteando. This packed schedule highlights the theatre’s role as both a home for major festivals and a versatile space for the city’s diverse community.
