In southern Tenerife, an unidentified motorcyclist led the police on a frantic chase, refused to give his name, and appeared in court for traffic violations.

Last week in southern Tenerife, a man on a moped engaged in a wild chase and then refused to give his name to the police.

As a result, he was brought to court for traffic violations without even knowing who he was. It turned out that he was not in the Spanish police databases.

Eyewitnesses say that in the town of Arona, people at a bus stop were shocked to see a motorcyclist speeding past them, followed by two police cars with sirens blaring.

Video of the chase quickly spread on social media. It all happened on the TF-66 road between Valle San Lorenzo and Las Galletas, near the bus stop between Malpaso, the highway to the south, and the center of Guaza.

It is said that the man threw a bag on Guaza Avenue while driving towards Las Galletas. What was in the bag is unknown, as it was never found.

Eventually, the municipal police stopped him.

But the most interesting part began at the station. The man refused to give his name and had no documents with him.

The police found that he was not in their databases, meaning he had most likely not previously come to the attention of Spanish law enforcement.

So, he was brought to court without any information about his identity. He is accused of dangerous driving, which is a traffic violation.
