Laura Mesa Lima Opens 'Site Survey II' at Tenerife's 'La Ventana'
The Tenerife Circle of Fine Arts has opened its fourth exhibition, Laura Mesa Lima's 'Site Survey II,' at its 24-hour 'La ventana' space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as part of its ongoing centenary celebrations.
This Thursday, the Tenerife Circle of Fine Arts opened its fourth exhibition at the 'La ventana' space. This art spot is located at their main building on Calle del Castillo, 43, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The current show features artist Laura Mesa Lima's work, titled 'Site Survey II,' a creation made with glass, paper, and light.
This exhibition is part of the ongoing celebrations for the Tenerife Circle of Fine Arts' centenary, which runs from 1925 to 2025. Pepe Valladares is the current president of the Circle.
The unique 'La ventana' space, curated by Octavio Zaya, is open 24 hours a day at street level. In just four months, it has quickly become an important part of the island's art scene. It has previously hosted installations by Fernando Álamo, Cristina Maya, and Luis Palmero. Laura Mesa's work is the latest addition, and it will be on display until February 14.
