Las Galletas to Host Second Annual Food and Wine Fair This Saturday
Las Galletas will host its second local food and wine fair this Saturday, March 28, featuring regional culinary stalls, live music, and initiatives to support local businesses.
Las Galletas is set to host the second edition of its local food and wine fair this Saturday, March 28. Organized by the Arona City Council, the event is part of a broader strategy to boost the local economy and support small and medium-sized businesses in the area.
The fair will take place at the Plaza and Rambla Dionisio González from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. Visitors can explore 13 different stalls, featuring nine local restaurants and four wineries from the island’s Denominations of Origin. By highlighting local products, the event aims to strengthen the region’s unique culinary identity.
In addition to the food and wine, the event will feature live music, starting with a performance by Los Trovadores de Cuba, followed by several other artists throughout the evening. Beyond providing entertainment, the fair is designed to bring the community together and attract visitors to the town.
Because a large turnout is expected, local authorities are encouraging attendees to plan their travel in advance. Using public transport or carpooling is highly recommended to help manage traffic and promote responsible drinking. This event is part of Arona’s ongoing effort to turn public spaces into hubs for sustainable local business.
