Arona City Council has announced that Las Galletas will host its popular 'Tapas y Vinos' (Tapas and Wines) event once more on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This event is becoming a significant force for economic and cultural growth in southern Tenerife. The initiative, led by the Department of Economic Promotion and Employment, aims to establish the area as a prime destination for leisure and dining, blending local food with the island's rich winemaking heritage.
The event will take place on Dionisio González Street, running from 5:00 PM until midnight. It will feature twenty exhibitors in total. Fourteen of these will be catering businesses from Arona, while the six participating wineries will represent all five of Tenerife's official wine regions (Designations of Origin). This setup aims to give both residents and visitors a complete tasting experience and an enjoyable walk through the commercial area.
