On Tenerife, chefs are transforming local landscapes into culinary masterpieces as part of the "Landscapes on a Plate" gastronomic project.

"Landscapes on a Plate" is a cool project that combines food, the beauty of nature, and unique flavors. Imagine chefs taking famous places in Tenerife and turning them into delicious dishes! This is how they tell stories about the island and showcase its most interesting corners. The main idea is to look at familiar landscapes in a new way and experience their taste through culinary masterpieces. It's like art, care for nature, and incredible sensations in one dish.

This project was conceived by The ShowRoom Mag from the Canary Islands. They specialize in gastronomic and tourist experiences, always choosing local products and supporting small producers. "Landscapes on a Plate" uses food as a way to explore and experience Tenerife.

This year, Santa Cruz, La Laguna, and Arona invite you on a unique gastronomic journey. There, landscapes will transform into dishes, and dishes into true culinary art.

It all starts in the capital of Tenerife, at the Carta Palace on October 16. Chefs Pedro Nel, Denny Nielsen, and Gerardo Cruz will try to convey the spirit of Santa Cruz in their creations.

Each dish will show how ordinary urban landscapes can be turned into something delicious and special.

Next is San Cristóbal de La Laguna. The city is celebrating 25 years since its inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List, so the event will be part of the celebration.

On October 16, at the Eco Hotel Costa Mágica, chef Braulio Simancas will prepare a tasting dedicated to the landscapes of La Laguna. He will create a special menu to honor these places.

The gastronomic journey will conclude in Arona on October 17. There, the coast and the sun will be the inspiration. The chefs will focus on fresh local products and create something special.

The Spring Vulcano Hotel will be the final destination. There, gastronomic tourism and the beauty of nature will come together to show how important it is to care for nature, innovate, and appreciate the Canary Islands.

"Landscapes on a Plate" is a great way to draw attention to a tourist destination through food. The project is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands through the Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida brand, which is the main sponsor.

The event is also supported by various organizations that share a love for gastronomic culture and sustainable tourism. These include Turismo de Tenerife, the municipalities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Cristóbal de La Laguna, as well as private companies such as Spring Hoteles, Alcampo, Ecohotel Costa Mágica, and El Gusto por el Vino. They have joined forces to bring this initiative to life.
